My buddy and I play all the time on Xbox... but he almost ALWAYS gets the ball on a cross or goal kick: if the balls in the air, his guys end up with it. Even if i choose a "better" team.

He swears he's not doing anything "special..." so what gives?

Any help? Advice? Xanax?

It just seems really arbitrary, and I'm having less fun playing...

Hold R2 while the ball is in the air to move your player around and position him where he will win it i.e. in front of the opposition player.

Works for me.
