i am after a quality cf to score lots of goals and hav looked at fred and i like his stats and he is fairly young.

I am currently about to start my 3rd season in ml and have a full squad but lack a bit of quality. i want to buy fred in the transfer window at half-way.

I have lua lua, viduka, recoba, ruben castro, sibon, oscar cardozo as well as some younger players (l.martinez, gutierrez, someone else) they are all decent but all have weaknesses and i want a real quality striker but cheaper than an owen or rooney etc.

anyone know whether fred is good?

I don't know about Fred.

But there's a young player out there called Schwarz.
He's young, relatively cheap and one of the greatest future talents.
But still has to develop somewhat at the start.

And my personal choice is Gignac. But he might be a bit old for you by now. Somewhere like 22 by now probably. He's a very solid one.

Schwarz is more like the next Van Nistelrooy..
And gignac... I dunno. More like a Toni.
Just incredibly strong, wich is very usefull for keeping off those CB's long enough.

Ben Sahar all the way!!! I just replied to another post about this talent!! Play him enough and by the time he is 20-21 you wont even bother with Rooney!! He has a powerful shot, great header and stong on the ball, what more do you want!!!!

i couldnt get fred in mid-season so i bought ibrahimovic and agbonlahor instead. ibrahimovic scored 7 in 1st 2 games - amazin, n i was usually just winnin by 1 most games.

i got ibrahimovic at half way stage in 3rd season and he got top goalscorer in the league and D1 cup. Anyone else done this?
