Free Kick Attack And Defence Questions

Hi, I have two questions about attacking and defencing free kicks.

1. Wall control in a free kick- it says in the command list that if you press :triangle: while you set up the wall, the keeper will move towards it. I tried doing it but I don't see any changes in the keeper position. Can someone help me do it right? Thanks.

2. Adjusting the direction while shooting- it says in the command list that in a free kick, while the power gauge is on, you can adjust the direction of the kick by pressing :R1: and :L1:. I don't get it- is it supposed to change the direction of the ball? The angle of the kick?
I also heard that it had something to do with the version updates- I have the 1.4 version. Help needed, thanks.

In a free kick upto nearly 30m away simply aim at a gap in the wall or between the legs and hold down on the d pad and circle to full power.More often than not i score like this.Ive practised for ages on trying to score further out than that and failed, although it can be done.Now i just hold L1 and tap circle to about a quarter power.It'll float over the wall and 50% or more of the time your player can run onto it.Less frustrating but ultimately the aim is to score a goal!

Thanks, but that wasn't realy my question.

about the L1 and R1 buttons if u press one of them while pressing the shoot button the ball will curve to the direction of the button ;
R1:the ball will curve mid-air to the right
L1: the ball will curve to the left

and the keeper thing , i think they meant the keeper will come toward the ball after the shot is taken

i wish that helped

Do you mean like when you press the directional buttons to curve?
