free kick shoot help

can someone please tell me how to take a free kick i suck at them i have only scored 3 and i have had the game for months

My method

well its not too hard though.. i do this
when you are in 27 to 23 meters you have too hold r2 then you kick whit square to the middle of the meter a little bit more,, then you press left or right depends if the kicker is right footed you prees left if is left footed right and,, theres your goal it depends the accuracy of the kicker and the stats..i use beckham and ryan giggs they are good ....

I just hold UP and leave the meter run a couple of inches while aiming where I want the ball.

cadey, that is correct, yes. But try with all the different FK types and you WILL discover it is hard, yes. However, just figure out a way with each type and you will find a way. One example is with T. Henry's freekick style... You can actually use 1/3 of the power and make the freekick go through the holes in the wall. As for Beck's freekick, you can simply curve the ball to the right of the wall by using the right ammount of power (depending where the freekick is taken). But yes, this is all explained @ Giggsy11's thread.

If you're about 16-18m from the goal, just choose an average shooter (Fk accuracy over 80) and then just tap the circle button. Aim to the corner of the goal of the goal, and you should score.

just press up and left or right in the middle of the bar

if you are 22-18 from goal hold down on the dpad if 29-23 just shoot and if 30 or above hold up and when you shoot always get the power bar half way

In Pro Evo 4 tho I used to use the 2nd guy to tap it to the side and the other guy to hammer it not at the wall but where the Goal Keeper stands - the keeper has a knack of shifting in the middle of the goal and it goes straight in as he can't get back in time. Can you knock it to the side anymore (you used to press down on the right Anologe stick?!?

On Pro Evolution 4 or 5? On 5, I use it so it's just one notch over (2) and then add a bit of extra downward and sideways curl with R3. This generally gets me a good effort on goal or a cracking top corner special.
