Open up one of the games you have, e.g. stiker or something, then go to file, load genesis/32x rom and navigate to where your smd file is and voila...

Lion king save

Yeah you can Dan. Use the "save state" option. Then you can keep retrying till you finish it. I know it's cheating but those games were alot harder than the games of today. Once you died that was it... "game over!"
