Game difficulty.....

i was just wondering when you increase the difficulty of the game does it make the keeper better at saving shots or does it make the players around him harder to get through like the defense being more solid and having more successful tackles etc.

Coulndt tell u m8 i'v played on 6star since i got it makes u better quicker. Everytime i play my m8s i demolish them probly cos they still play on 3star.

Playing @ a higher star rating makes the CPU controlled players be more better when in possesion. Also the make the most of set pieces.

I'll have to try that sometime cos my m8s play on 6* when im on 3* and being honest i dont win too often

From my experience, even from level 1 the com does fairly well at keeping possession of the ball, and is still capable of scoring 35yard screamers, if you give them the space that is. however, when it comes to defending, there is a very noticeable difference on the lower levels. On level one you can pretty much walk your way into the box, on level 5-6 you'd be lucky to take two steps without being closed down left right and centre. As for goalkeepers, i think that they are the same whether its level 1 or level 6 when it comes to actual shot-stopping, the only difference i would say is that they are less likely to come steaming off their line to catch the ball or to clear a slightly over-hit through ball by the opposition etc

cheers 4 ur help. I played on *5 the other day against chelsea an lost 1-0, i normally play on 3* tho. maybe thts y!!

1-0 defeat to Chelsea isn't bad for your first game on 5*. Keep with the 5* tho mate, it forces you into thinking of new ways to play.

Yesterday I played with Barcelona against Real Madrid on 4* and match time was 15 minutes. I won 4-1!! Ronaldinho was the star of the match with 2 assists and one goal he get a 8.0!! Eto`o scored twice and gave a assist end get a 7.5. The other goal was van Xavi he get a 6.5
