I got PES 2008 for the computer a few days ago. I have downloaded one of the files of this site, which works great. However the set up for the controller in the file I downloaded shows a set up for a Playstation 2 controller. Now the controller I have is a REALLY old generic PC controller that doesn't really work to well (like the right stick doesn't seem to do anything, and I can't figure out how to do headers). So is there really a way to hook up a playstation 2 controller to your computer to use with games?

I went to best buy yesterday and asked the sales guys who work there, and they looked at me like I was nuts and said "it can't be done". However, I figured I would check here to make sure since if it really is possible to do, this seems like the place to find out.

Thanks for any info.

I also have a couple of PS2 DualShock controllers connected to the PC. It's just a USB hub with two PS2 adapters on one end.

There are also tons of gamepads out there that kinda look like the PS2 controller and which have the same amount of buttons in an almost identical layout. Logitech has a few, for instance.

Ok great, thanks for the info. I will try to either find a USB Hub with the Playstation 2 adapters and/or look at some Logitech controllers.
