I heard the other day that there is a tool that you can use to put faces from photo's in the game i.e. i want to put my self in the game but am a bit rubbish at creating. Does anyone know if this is true or is someone i know just lying, cos i havent heard about it on this website.

Well I would have thought this could only be achieved on the pc version, look for black illusions thread as some of the faces he has done are quality, and you never know he might be able to sort something out for you if you ask nicely enough as I think he takes requests.
Try searching for tutorials aswell as there are bound to be plenty of people that will share their info.

The easiest way is to try to create your own face in Edit mode.
Otherwise you'll have to patch your game which requires a chipped or modded PS2 and some time on patching.

I thin Cascarino mentioned it. You can try posting a picture of yourself to one of the face creation threads, and if you're lucky, one of the guys may be happy to do it for you.

Yes, that's the easy part but if he wants to do it that way he'll have to do quite a bit of work to be able to play the game with himself in it.

But I thought it was difficult even when using the tutorial. But it is cool when you succeed.

But it's exactly as Zyg said, you will need comprehensive PES editing knowledge and the means to play a back-up on your PS2.

how do i extract a face in the first place to edit. like we008.bin on valdez

You just open your O_TEXT.AFS in GGS and then right-click on the face bin you want to extract and then choose "Extract File to..."
