Glitches

Anyone experienced any weird glitches on the PS2 version? Last night I was playing against a mate, he got close to my area and I noticed my goalkeeper wasn't in his goal. I hadn't been pressing triangle so I paused the game to see where he had got to, and I couldn't find him! On the player tracking function, it just skipped my goalkeeper and went on to my defenders instead. When the ball went out of play a few seconds later, he re-appeared.

My PS isn't chipped and I'm playing the official version of the game, so it isn't that. I'm wondering if anyone else has had anything similar happen to them?

Was it just a one off, this has never happened to me before.

Nothing like this has ever happened to me before on the game. It's never crashed on me or anything. It was really confusing.

I would ignore it, I had Van der Vaart fall over 3 times it was so funny he just fell over slid across the grass got up, fell down again like he had been shot got up fell over and lay there for a while. He then got up and played on like nowt was the matter - haven't seen this since.

Ive had it where corner takers disappear, so you have select a new kicker.

Yes, it's happened to others before. In the threads where they mentioned it.

I've not seen it, my keeper's are afraid to go AWOL on me........

The only glitch in my game is when my centre halfs are closing in on the oppositions forwward and then they go and clash into each other and fall to the ground and let the forward stroll through.

PS Does it not annoy anyone how easy the keepers get free kicks? Like if theyre touched they get one, no matter how good the tackle was. And why dont the players challenge the keeper when the balls in the air?!

Now this isnt a glitch, but i've recently noticed that the classic players of the classic teams do the strangest things. Whenever i play my bro, we seem to have the best matches when we are classic teams.... dont know why!??!
Anyway the classic players are strange cause they miss-control the ball and kick the ball in strange ways..... I dont know how to explain it but its odd because it never happens with club teams.
