GET IN YOU BUGGER!!!
i have finally completed all of the licenses.. :D
Nurburgring on the last ever task is class. you have to do it in at least 7minutes 58seconds..dont worry you get an amazing car to do it in..monstrous amount of speed with sheer class handling to balance it out...superb.
the car you get for doing the license though is an embarresment..if anyone wants to see it just PM me.

Ah yes well the same thing happened with FFX-2. Disc read error usually isn't the disc, it's the lens. I solved it the same way I did X-2 by taking the ps2 to bits and cleaning the lens.

Running perfectly now. B-spec mode is a nice new feature, I can set my driver away to make some money for me while eating dinner etc.

Exactly what B-Spec mode was intended for. Also, you can go to the toilet and make money.

Dunno I'm thinking it'll be rather handy on endurance races too..

Thats just crazy. Le Mans circuit is in the game so maybe it is the real 24 hr race.

Has anyone done the international A license test where you drive the 240 mph Nissan (down the back straight of Le Mans) with a force-feedback steering wheel? Its pretty knackering.

The only licence test I recall on Le Mans was using a Bentley. Where you had to do a lap with chicanes placed in the middle of the straight. Took me a few attempts, there's no room for error on any of the corners.

B-Spec is nice, but I can't help feelings it's slightly cheap. Getting the computer to win the race for you in x3 speed just seems to ruin the point of the game.

Especially when you can basically earn all the money you could ever need from raping B-Spec on the German Touring Car Race using the tuned-up CLK car you get from winning the Silver Arrow race.

Fifteen grand a race plus 75 grand prize money. And you win a car you can sell for almost 800 grand. Repeat as required. Strangely you only need a B licence to race this on B-spec.

I have a force-feedback steering wheel. Might as well give it ago this holiday. Thanks for that. ;)
I think B-Spec is great...But...you shouldnt be allowed to use it over-excesively. Maybe you should have to pay a small sum of money to be able to use it each race. I also think you should be able change from B-Spec to A-Spec during a race, and also the reverse way as well.
But B-Spec is great if you are doing a endurance race while you are playing a game of football with your mates or something along those lines.

Never going to happen. That would make the game totally unrealistic... like half way through a race you jump out of the technical area and jump into the car whilst it's still moving. Swapping drivers in the middle of a race is a bad idea... unless you implimented something similar at a pit stop perhaps, but even then it spoils the whole idea of B-Spec.

To be honest, ive never used B-spec in Gran Turismo mode, only experimented with it in arcarde mode. I don't see the point in buying the best driving game about, and then letting the COM race for you.

You should also use the force feedback steering wheel all the time, as you can get much quicker lap times with it. Its just not the same with the joypad.

This is one of mine: i have a couple more but i will let other people tell us theirs first.

Ever since the first GT my favourite has always been the Skyline, gt-r vspecII. I'm also quite a fan of vipers even though I can't really drive them for shit. I'm sure we don't need pictures of those two.

So I aint the only one thank god who cant handle a Viper. Thats a relief. Thought my driving skills were under threat ;)
To be honest I couldnt even handle them in Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec.
But boy they look so mean its incredible.

I havn't bothered to buy one yet on 4, assume they drive similar though. Just spent my last 250,000 credits buying a speed 12, needed an na type and I've always liked TVRs. Seems it can get over 1000 bhp with the supercharger.

I love TVR's as well. I seen a Tuscan Speed Six when i was on a little holiday break up in Scotland and i must say it took my breath away. The trademark flip-paint. Was simply stunning. I aim to buy all the TVR's on the game. And the ones in the Used Cars section which are unavailable to buy in the 'official' car shops.

Yeah a speed 6 pulled up next to me at the lights in Newcastle, felt a little dwarfed in my Fiesta.

On that note I can't beleive they included Ford Kas but no Fiesta, I'd love to drive a Fiesta in GT4 for the novelty value.
