Which one of the two has Modest Mouse on the soundtrack? I can't be arsed to look. The appeal of cymbals does allure me to GH:WT somewhat, unless I'm mistaken and Rock Band 2 has cymbals as well?

Probably get RB2 this friday might get this for xmas, and CC rock band 2 drum kit has cymbals but they're sold seperatley.

Yeah, the Rock band 2 cymbals you can buy seperate...They also make the rock band 2 drum set better than the World tour one, with four pads, two cymbals and a kick pedal...

Yeah you can...plus theres all the DLC aswell, if you got a bit of spare cash lol

Apparently you can import all songs from Rock Band 1 too.

Yup you can, I've already exported them from the RB1 disc to my HDD only like 1GB, you have to pay 400 MS points though and Enter Sadman and like 1 or 2 more songs don't export for licensing issues.

Additionally, 55 of the 58 songs from the original Rock Band game disc can be exported to the player's console hard drive and used within Rock Band 2.The disc export feature was made available on the Xbox 360 version of the original Rock Band via a title update on September 4, 2008, with a cost of 400 MS Points ($4.99 USD) required to purchase a transfer license.This feature is also available for PlayStation 3 owners, however, there are presently no plans for Wii owners to do the same.Four songs from Rock Band are not transferable: "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden, and "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath are unavailable for transfer in all versions of Rock Band, and "Monsoon" by Tokio Hotel is non-transferable in the European release of Rock Band. Each Rock Band song had to be relicensed for use within Rock Band 2.

So how do I go about doing it, and if I download songs AFTER paying 400MS to transfer the songs, will it allow me to play them in either RB1 or RB2? I'm gathering It JUST transfers the songs from the disc?

Options>Export songs

Then you pay the 400MS points then it copies the songs from the disc to your hard drive, then when you come to play Rock Band 2 all the songs from RB1 appear as DLC.

All Rock Band DLC work's for both games, there is not set DLC for a game unlike Guitar Hero.
