I really likes Guitar hero 2 for ps2 now i want to upgrade but im not sure which one i should get, i was gonna go wiv rockband because of the drums but Guitar hero have drums now aswell so can someone please enlighten me on which one i should buy for the ps3.

1.) Which Game is Better?

2.) Which game has better Drums?

3.) Which Game has better Guitar?

The game depends on on the songs so find the list of both and determine yourself which one you prefer.

Both of them are not out in the UK so I don't know for definite which one is better but I prefer the look of GHWT drum set.

GHWT guitar is seems the better one with the new touch pad on it.

Overall you should buy one and then just buy the other one as an individual game as the both work with each others instruments.

Take note that Rock Band will have over 200 songs out when it comes out through DLC etc but it will cost more, where as GHWT will have a mode where you can make your own music and will be out before Rock Band 2.

I wouldn't bother with Rock Band 1 as the new one will eventually come out, plus the original did have hardware problems with the drums with them ofter breaking a lot.

I'm personally getting GHWT because I believe the drums will be better and on play.com it is quite cheap seeing as though you get a free bass guitar with it.

I haven't played Guitar Hero or Rock Band, but I love rock music so am interested in getting one of these titles in the future. Which game is best for a mess around and to have fun? And which game is more rewarding? Which game would last longer, with downloadable content etc..

Both are equally as fun.

More rewarding? As both are not out yet I wouldn't have a clue but I would assume they would be very similar.

Rock Band 2 aims to have over 500 songs out (DLC) before Christmas, I personally don't think GHWT can match that but you never know. Rock Band already has over 200 songs out already.

Overall you could get one with its instruments and buy the other as an individual game as the instruments work for both. I'm talking about RB2 and GHWT.

RB2 has no release date yet for the UK, and it's a timed 360 exclusive so the PS3 owners won't get it for ages.

I have guitar hero 3 and only really want to get rockband as you can create your own character, you can also do this in guitar hero 4 and even create your own guitar which i guess is pretty cool. I like alot of the tracks in Guitar hero 4 so i will probably just wait for that.

Anyway ive decided to get Guitar hero world Tour.

Oh yh and I just found our you can import ANY song you like from you computer and play it in the game BUT heres the best part you can only do it on the PS3 VERSION WOOOOOOO lol , apparently 360 doesnt have the technology to pull this off. lmao @ 360s misfortune
