^No it's your opinion. It's just not gonna be that this year. Both games are good in a way.

When FIFA 10 came out and I could get it for £26 on PS3 I couldn't resist and went to get it......It is the first time I have ever bought a FIFA game, since I have had a go at old versions of FIFA and really didn't like it.

I played ISS on the megadrive and loved it, getting future versions on the ps and ps2 (pro evo 5 +6) and I loved the games, many many hours played on these football games.

I played on the last pes and mixed thoughts about it really, and was prepared to be open minded about pes 2010, even preordering it from way back.

But after playing FIFA 10, I decided I would cancel the preorder because I feel I will only be playing FIFA 10 this year. Just everything about it feels polished and well thought out, in terms of modes and ESPECIALLY the online play the game has to offer.
Of course no game is perfect, I'm not saying it is, but it terms of it's competition (ie. PES10), I think it will undoubtedly be the better game.
I have played the demo...no not the WE one but the pes one, wasn't at all impressed tbh, but won't really know until the full game comes out.

FIFA has moved on from the poor offerings that I played 5-8 years ago, its time people become open minded about games they play because all these die hard 1 brand players are missing out.

It's a good thing that you give other footy games a shot, I do the same every year.
And frankly, last two years KONAMI and EA has had a world championship in releasing crappy games. PES2009 was a funny game, but a tad shallow AI as usual.
FIFA has always been about the eyecandy, the actual game sucks and you get the feeling that your players are running on railroad tracks.

Both games have good sides however, but in the end the old saying sums it all up pretty good.

"FIFA looks like football, PES feels like football"

And I always end up choosing PES over FIFA because the game gives me a better satisfaction when I play.

PS: Last FIFA game I bought was "World Cup '98" wich was good at the time.

I wouldnt take any high scoring review of a game with so many bugs seriously.Instantaneous reviews of a sports game does not make sense.People like to play FIFA offline too and my God bug central and a crappy lookin PS3 version to boot.I see why people love FiFa but i honestly think EA have dropped the ball on this one.I think there's one plausible review by some XBOX magazine where the reviewer actually played Manager Mode, think it was 8/10 in the end.Anyway the game needs serious patching.
