i have just bought a max drive off play.com
is it easy 2 get the proper kits / badges etc 2 ur ps2?
is the max drive all u need?

you just need to download the option file that you want and put it on it its that simple

Yes that's all you need.
Download one of the new option files from the File Downloads -> Option Files section and then use the Max Drive Help thread to transfer it over to your memory card. Before this, backup all of your memory card files onto your PC. And only use the normal PS2 startup menu to delete files.

Just go to the downloads section on the forum and there will be the option files.
Zyg is basically saying copy all of your memory card on to the max drive and put it on ur pc just incase anything bad happens

if you go in to the user cp and click edit avatar you can change it there.
BTW can someone help me i forgot how to change the bit that says registered user to what i want so can someone say how to do it. I accidently deleted what i had and i cant remember how to do it
