help me guys players keep pulling my shirt its a real disadvantage !!!

im running with the ball about a yard in front of defender and he seems to pull my shirt, i slow down to almost a stop and he ends up 2 yards in front of me with the ball, its really cheesing me off.

can you guys tell me how to do it? its on the xbox i play it but if you tell me how to do it and stop opponents doing it to me on any version of the game i 'll try to suss the controls out.

and anyone how do you do the volley ? when striker is outside the box he's running diagnoly towards goal then appears to volley it in to goal beats my goalie and defender nearly all the time ???

Yeah, I think it just happens when u apply pressure or when u hard tackle (I noticed that sometimes when u hard tackle, the player does not slide but makes other moves like pushing the guy very hard).
Anyways my advice is to use players with very high balance as they are much less likely to stumble or slow down when pressurized...

Dribble close to opponent until he is slightly behind you, hold R2 with no other button. Your player will lock on oppo. (like a 3D shooter, a la Metroid) and pull, kick or elbow. The catch is, if you don't get the ball your player will stumble and fall behind. Make sure you are slightly ahead of oppo. before tackling.
