*** Help.... my full-backs are going AWOL ***

Is there any one in the Pro Evo community having problems with their full-backs when in posession of the ball?

I'll use Barcelona as an example. I play the default system of 4-3-3. Team as follows; Victor Valdes, Belleti, Oleguer, Puyol, Van Bronkhorst, Van Bommel, Xavi, Deco, Ezquerro, Ronaldinho, Eto'o

When I take a short goal kick Victor Valdes will play the ball to either one of the full-backs, Belleti or Van Bronkhorst. Once either player has played the ball to a team mate, either to a centre-back or a midfielder, they will then move to the centre of play instead of staying out wide.

I can understand them coming to the centre if the opposing team is attacking through the middle but not when I'm trying to compose an attack. I didn't notice the full-backs doing this in previous versions.

PES5 is awesome, like most people on here it took me a while to aclimatise to the new playing engine, but this is seriously annoying me and is my only criticism of the game play. Is there a way around this or are the boy's at Konami being cheeky by trying to get people to purchase the £10 guide???

Ye i hav the same problem... Just move your fullbacks to near the corner flag on the formation set-up. This tactic normally works well over the network play, and against other ppl in general.

they should attack like my ones they score goals once in a while put your quick setting to attack that should work

Thnx.... i checked the individual attacking strategy and they were being directed to go the centre... why???

I didn't have this problem in the last two versions. Just a thought, but I think Konami have done this deliberately so some people won't notice and will purchase the guide for £10.
