Hi

Enjoying the game but frustrated at a few things and wonder if anyone can help.....

1. I know R2 shields the ball but cannot seem to do this all the time, how do you make you player shield the ball effectively please.

2.Freekicks are a pain and have only scored one in the 3 weeks I have had the game, much harder than PE3, any ideas ?

3.Headers, as above ?

4.Does anyone know any moves or tricks not from PE3 ?

5.Even though I have broadband why is this site slow at the moment ?

Cheers

Trev :D

2) Put less power on the free-kicks. For a kick about 25m out I put a bit under half power on it. For further out distances increase the amount of power accordingly. Try practicing them on training mode - they will get easier.

3) Yeah, these are harder now. While the ball is in the air use R2 to maouvere your player to just behind the ball before you hit :square: , this should get him to jump and put a downward header on it.

4) La Bona: Run down the wing that is the opposite of the players strong foot (left-footed player down the right wing, and vice-versa). Create a slight angle and shoot for the far post - make sure the player has a low weak foot frequency.

I found that scoring headers is a lot easier by holding L1 and tapping circle twice for crosses. Also from corners, i make the bar go up 3 quarters of the way from the start of the bar and the middle notch. I've scored a few headers this way.

Tried but no luck, where exactly on the pitch should I be shooting from ?

Thanks for the help by the way.
