Help with tv settings

Ive searched for answers to this and it always seems to go into loads of detail when i just want a simple answer.

My copy of WE9 is on its way in the post and once i get it will I need to set my tv to NTSC 60mhz thingy or can i keep it at 50 PAL?? Because my tv goes black and white when in the NTSC 60mhz option. if it does need to be in the ntsc mode-can i get anything thatll change it to colour?

Is that just on ordinary scart because i,ve got one and still plays black & white on my tv and my mate bought the ntsc to pal convertor and it doesnt work either. Only plays in colour on my downstairs tv

actually you need an RGB capable socket on the tv, for a ps2 RGB cable to work...

if you havn't got an RGB capable tv...then download the ntsc to pal patch and it should work on your tv

Question ive got and rbg scart and it worked fine when i was using it before for winning eleven 8 but now it just stays black and white so does anyone know how to fix this or will i have to buy a new cable and i also heard that the old grey scart cables for the ps1 work can anyone confirm this ?
