Ive unlocked all the secret players and teams from the extra contents but i dont have like real kits and stuff for the club teams. So if i download a patch with correct kits etc. but that patch doesnt have unlocked players does that mean my unlocked players will disapear?

No, the unlocked players are part of your system data not your edit data.

I can't be 100% definite just in case there is a problem but your best bet is create a copy of what you have and back it up onto PC/USB stick.

Download a patch and see what happens but If it does cause problems you can just reload your option file onto your system.
