How do I get the updated transfers?

Konami are releasing new DLC soon. Expect it to be released in about 2 weeks. An exact date should be announced soon.

OPE can you explain to an online gaming novice how I get the update please?
I am awaiting SKY/BT turning up to connect me which seems to be taking ages but when they do I'd like to know how to get the update right away.
Do I have to have LIVE for it or is it just on the Konami site?

stottmeister with you saying live i presume you are on 360
when your internet is ready and youve connected your machine and set up an account the very first time you play the game it will tell you there are updates, just follow the instructions on screen. There are currently 3 updates download them all!
But at the moment you wont have the transfers for january that is not out for another 2 weeks or so(no confirmed date yet!) and as above once that comes out the first time you play the game you will be prompted to download it!

So I do need to have a LIVE account for it?
Another question if you don't mind, I have created kits for the prem teams and manually done their transfers so far plus turned the PES League into the bundesliga as far as kits and team names go. The players in this league are still the default fakes.
Will the three updates you mentioned alter this? I mean extra licenses for certain teams.

yes you need live but when you sign up you get 1 free month of "gold" at the moment which will let you do your updates and play online against other people
but even if you dont decide to renew at the end of the month you gets whats called a silver account where you cant play against other people online but you will still get your updates!

Im not to sure how it will affect your alterations any changes i made i did after the updates so im not sure but there is a lot of very helpful people on here who im sure can answer your question. Check in the editing section theres a lot of knowledgable people there!
The 3 updates i mentioned update some transfers from summer, improves the shooting, improves online play, adds some boots and iron out a few origional errors with kits they got wrong and duplicate players deleted. there were no extra licenses added as far as i know

I can't wait now. I didn't know that about the membership, I should have my months free then I have a 48 hr voucher but I should have my paid subscription up and running by then.
I was told my line would be connected on the 31st and then I would recieve my wireless router at around the same date. No sign of them though:crymore:

After updates to the data packs, usually the only thing that will change is players will be registered back to their original squads, so lets say you have registered Neuer to Schalke from the German NT after the update you will need to re-register him. Any kits or logos you have added should stay the same along with any apperances you have altered. Hope that helps

Don't forget to Base Copy retired players etc. Gary Neville will disappear once you've installed the update. If you're interested of course!

and stottmeister thats exactly how i did it i used my free month when that run out i added the 48 hour voucher which took me to the morning of my birthday and was bought a voucher. So till now i havent paid anything!
