How do I personalise the L1 messages?

The basic messages on these options are pretty dull, but I notice people are able to personalise theirs.
How do I do that, then?

Hi SheriffF, welcome to the site.

On the XBox 360 version this is an option which can be found on an options page when you first login to the online game. I assume it will be the same for PS3. The menu is called 'Settings' or something such, and is before entering any match-making area.

Network Options

Hi ! It's very simple. Just go to "Network Options" then it should be something (I can't remember the exact name)
with the name "Video chat" or something. Ill bet you'll find it soon =). Good luck !
