how do you edit payer position

right so how do i change a mid fielder to a FW
in 2010 it was edit position then you could choose WF SS CF ect
how do i do it in 2011

just want to chuck a striker on in midfield and push him up front as a SS in the last few min of a game??

Use the on screen arrow to drag him forward in the subs menu.

Yeah, it's a bit different...
In the game plan screen, select your formation and then you can drag the blue spheres to your required positions. Then whilst the cursor is over the sphere, push x button, this should allow you edit the players' position (ss, cf, amf etc)

I think what your after is "select role"

Just put cursor on player and press SQUARE!

I thought it was square?

once youve selected the player with the arrow then press square to adjust his position. if you press r1 it goes from green to player condition to player position should you need to re-check.
