How long does skill cards take to activate ?

Sorry for the silly question, ive just put a few of my players on the skill cards training, obviously this takes time to complete for the skill card to be active, how long does it take ?

Yeah, didn't realise it states up to 8 weeks, sorry about that. I have gotten at the stage where my skill card has been finished, now I can't seem to select it ? I go and select the finished skill card yet it doesn't stay on it ?

also if you check the player cant remmeber what its in but it will say how many weeks till card is learned.
