Will post my fps tonight but on the subject of FPS...
Has anyone noticed FPS dropping ? (at least thats what it seems like).
Sometimes, during replays, it seems like to avoid slowdown, the game is dropping a load of frames to allow the replay to happen without slowdown and it makes the game look choppy.
It happens sometimes at cut-scenes (mostly corners) and although doesn't affect gameplay, it kinda takes from the moment.

If your FPS never goes above 60, turn off Vsync. You can find Vsync (or Vertical Sync), in your graphics card options. To get to your graphics card options, right click the desktop. Then hit properties. Then hit settings. Then hit advanced. Now just look around for a little bit until you find Vertical Sync or Vsync and turn that option off. Vsync gets rid of tearing, but limits your FPS and I don't recommend using it unless you have a top of the line ATi or Nvidia graphics card (processor is NOT a big factor for games.. the graphics card is).

Well, It might be because of your monitor then. I'm pretty sure that LCD monitors limit your FPS (correct me if I'm wrong). Try increasing your monitor screen refresh rate.

It might also be that the game itself limits your FPS. Once the game is out, modders will find out if this is true, and they can fix it. If it is locked at 60 by the game, it is probably to prevent tearing.

afaik, pes3 was the same. Cap at 60. And if it goes below the game actually slows down. I tried fraps last night and no matter what res I select I always get 60 (although down to 50 sometimes during cut scenes at the highest res).

PES3 had terrible slowdown on many good rigs. PES4 seems to have sorted that out at least but the 60 cap is stupid.
The FPS is locked to the actual speed of the game it seems which is not how any other games I know work.
