posted this to pesfan so thought id post here also.
I Have been truly upset with pes the last 3 years for not including online (or lan for that matter) co op for master league, champs league, training etc,
but I've figured out a way to make it possible, albeit with a little extra cost and a major requirement of a good upload speed.
things you need.
1 Copy of Pes 2011
1 Host Competent Pc to play pes on (with the good upload speed)
1 Client pc of any standard (doesnt matter if has onboard graphics)
1 subscription to http://www.streammygame.com
1 copy of http://www.xpadder.com/
how to.
1. the Host pc user must have the copy of pes and a goodupload speed (5 meg would probably do 1360 x 720, 10 meg would probably do 1920 x 1080) depending on how good he wants the other pc's resolution at. and also a competent pc to play pes on.
2. Host subs to streammygame with either premium or unlimited account. unlimited if he wants to go higher than 1280 x 720 resolution. host also installs the streammygame server and adds pes 2011 to hes gameslist.
2. Host has to set controller 1 as keyboard function. controller 2 as hes gamepad.
3. the Client has to also install streammygame for the player. Client also installs xpadder and uses it to assign the keyboard keys to hes gamepad and make sure they are exactly the same as what the Host pc user has assigned to the keyboard in he's pes 2011 settings. reason being streammygame only picks up keyboard commands and not pad commands. but using xpadder to assign hes pad keys as keyboard keys everything is pretty easy to set up and works exactly the same, even the analogues.
4. the client uses same account name that the host setup at streammygame loads up the webpage and chooses stream over broadband in the games list. on doing so pes will load on the host computer and stream to the client computer were you can then do co op!
5. client will be player 1 but host can also control player 1 with hes own keyboard and add himself in as player 2 with hes pad.
I have only tested this with the trial at present which only lets you stream at 640 x 480 but it worked flawlessly without lag.
I have 5 meg uploads and im going to purchase streammygame tomorrow to test on higher resolution but if anyone else wants to take the plunge and test then let me know your results.
Ofcourse try it with the free trial at first.
The person I will co op with only lives 2 miles away from me. I live in the uk and have 5 meg uploads with virgin media. BT has just started to roll out Infinity, which has10 meg uploads, so high res more or less lag free high resolution play should be possible.
will post my results in due course
If you need help let me know, also if anyone else has an alternative way to do it then ofcourse would be very interested!
regards
Snelz
