1. Open your palette in Graphic Studio
2. Press 'Set Colours Opaque'
3. The bmp should be all black when you test it by pressing 'View Alpha Mask'.
4. Then choose the pipette.
5. Then position it over the darkest point on the left hand side as near the top as possible (first row, far left). Press the pipette. Press A-only and then Set colours transparent.
6. Choose All and then check the transparencies by clicking 'View Alpha mask'

Repeat for all the darkest parts of the bmp to the left. It is the five dark rows you are interested in. Then just left click and drag the bmp over the existing one in the game. Done :D

No worries Young GE, it's always a pleasure to help someone that wants to learn about patching/editing PES. Any thing else you need help with, just let me know.

All you need to do is find the spike_ee_tex in the O_TEXT.AFS and right-click on it. Then choose 'replace file', find your new spike_ee_tex and replace. The you don't need to insert individual palettes as this file is all the palettes.

NOT if you have the bin! All this is already done if you have the bin file that was created for you. Just replace the existing file with the new one in the O_DATA.AFS. Done!

The spike_ee_tex bin contains the boots AND the palettes. Insert it and then you will see all the palettes in Graphic Studio, after the boot bmps.
