How to turn off sounds in menues?

Can't u go to sound options, and then shut off 'Music', 'SFX' and 'Commentary'? I think (but I'm not sure) that SFX is the sound of the menus?

Just go to system settings-) playlist and delete all songs and it will be quiet and you only will hear the menu sounds when you click!

i don't wanna any sound, not even when i click in menu.

I did that but there is still sounds during browsing and selecting in menu.

Strange, maybe you just have to turn your television sound off in the menus. I guess that's the only way. Why do you want the menu sound off anyway?

I shut down all SFX, music and commentators in PES but menu sounds are still there, I listen music on Winamp in background, and sounds in menu are just irritating and very loud when music plays.

And i like silence :)
