I need editing help

I want to change one of the teams in the game to Hearts so I can play as my favourite team. I can change the team name and strip okay, but when I go to change the players, I can't change their nationality. Do I have to create completely new players from scratch and then somehow import these into the team I am editing? I can't work out how to do this, as I can only seem to register the new players to a national team and not a club one.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You´re doing nothing wrong, created players can only by registered to national teams. Also you can´t change the nationality of existing players.
The only way to change the nationality of existing players is to change it on the PC with the Kmochida editor. You would have to make an image of your game, change the things you want to change and then burn the edited image to a blank CDr. You need a chipped console for playing an edited PES.

I have PES3 for PC. I downloaded Wolfs player and team name patch so the only team I want to change is to take out Southampton and put in Hearts in their place. I edited all the player names and put in the names of the Hearts team. Now when I go to play a game with them, only some of the edited names appear, and some of the old ones remain. I thought I might have not saved the edit properly, but when I go back to edit the team again, all the players names are correct. Its only when I try and play a game some of them change back for some reason. Any ideas?

Also, what is this Kmochida editor? Where can I get that?

Ok I've tracked down that Kmochida editor. The only problem is, that when I use it to open up the PES data, everything appears scrambled and messed up, with almost all the details appearing as "UNREGISTERED". Anyone else had this problem? Is it perhaps because I am not using the original data and I have used Wolfs patch?

Ok I was just being stupid and using the wrong editor before. I am now using the WEditor and can see all the teams and players OK. However, they names shown are the original players and teams rather than the patched ones. How can I edit Wolfs patched version using the WEditor?

you can't! Wolf has created them in the option file, so you need to edit in game, or delete the option file and use one of the patched exe file that includes the xfers etc

Yeah but what does this option file do? Does it contain proper team names and players names? And does this help me to put Hearts in the game? Sorry it wasn't supposed to come across as agressive, I'm just curious as to what it does.

Yeah and a lot more than that, well you could create them over stuttgart or the 2 default clubs.
If you download the file posted above, you'll get an rtf. file to see what's been done mate.

PS2 option files cannot be used with the PC version and vice versa.
Everyone should make it clear which version of the game they are talking about with regards to option files and game editors. It's all a but confusing at the moment.
