I surrender. WE7 has kicked my arse for a year now. I cannot bring myself to by WE8 because I cant even beat WE7.

So I surrender. How do you do it? I recently changed the view which helped a ton. Then I started watching the Premiership on Fox and that has helped ( and made me a HUGE fan of a sport that I never watched before...yes I am an ugly American).

I am talking about the master league mode. It smokes me every time. I earn under 3000 pts and its game over. I'm only playing on 3*!!! 2* is easy and boring. But 3* kills me every time. I get 8-10 decent shots and miss them all. The CPU gets one header off of a corner and thats it 1-0. I am offically West London White's BITCH!

Some one please help so that I can move on with my life and stop breaking controlers. I am pitifull. I cannot believe a video game has whiped me.

firstly choose a team you are confident with. this may take some time to do. find a good formation that suits your style of play. secondly play a lot of through balls, one-touch passing, and just shoot. don't try to play class. don't try to impress. just put the ball in the net. never never play on the wings. you won't get much headers if any in we8/pes4. manual strategies could be very useful, just check the thread by jMz, i could give you the link if you want. the one-two passes are brilliant. just press L1 + X to pass to a player and then return the ball with the triangle if you want it on the ground or the O if you want it a kind of cross. look at the radar. see where the keeper is. if he's outside the small box then just press [] and after you have released the shot press R1 so it comes with a bit of gradient. this could take a bit of practice. you can also use the radar for chip through passes. if you attacker has begun a run, then just chip pass and he will surely outrun the defender. train a lot at fks, especially those from 20m less. you should have 100% scoring ability in those. if you try any moves for now only do the sidestep which has 100 % efficiency and master the supercancel. it's damn useful

Ok seriously now.

It takes time, when i got PES4, i found it harder to score than PES3, but then i quickly grew out of that and just hammer the goals in.

It just takes practice. Sort out your players, your formation, take more time, shoot when you're sure and just keep trying!

I dont really know what you want anyone to say. Practice makes perfect !

Just sell a few players and get a decent striker to score your goals, then just really concentrate whilst playing. Keep possession - remember that the cpu cant score without the ball.

Set up a friendly match with your team on red form arrows against the CPU team on blue arrows. Play as Brazil and try to beat China. Once you can do it easily, change the arrows to make it a bit harder.

I had England wip up on Bulgaria or something for a while. And you are right, it helped.

I can win on Cup mode or League mode just fine with a good team. I placed 2nd w/ Man U in a champions type leage.

I have trouble in Master League Mode with that sorry MLS quality team.

You would think right? It is pretty sad. Now that I have Fox Soccer Network I will be watching plenty of football.

I started practacing the other day. I have completed 3*, I guss I should keep going.

Plus I am a Madden, NCAA, NBA live addict. I have not been playing this game all that much over the last year.

HUW, The funny thing is the ML team I use is Birmingham! They are the only Premiership team that is not on the game, but the team/city name is! Now I am a fan. But I see they are not that good. Well, next time you play Madden, use Cleveland and you will feal my pain.

I already feel your pain - i play as Arizona on Madden. But Birmingham are on there as West Midlands City.

I'm talkin' WE7, as I said, I can't justify buying WE8 until I can get a team out of the second division.

And a fan...as much as one can be who is new to the Premiership. I also like Newcastle, but I'm told you cant be both.

Im guessing you mean the castello and all group. WE8 gives you the option to have the 'real' team from the start and not the galacticos of cellini, castello and ximenez. Makes it a lot easier and for you probably a lot more enjoyable. Seeing as you can win most of the other tournaments with proper teams youll be able to do this aswell
