well done to you! according to my track record, i had ONE penalty, but i cant even remember if i actually had one... god it has been too long.

No way, you won a penalty!!!!! I still havent had one, after 2 seasons ML (inc cup runs, CL etc), a few individual matches, a Euro Cup etc etc

Don't know how many games I've played so far, but must be well over 100 anyway

How were you playing on Superstar Difficulty? Do you have Winning Eleven?

I would love it if the next update involved better AI. I am playing PES 2010 on Top Player but the AI are simply not eager enough to score.

Anyway, after applying the update I was actually awarded free kicks!?

I couldnt believe it. Perhaps the referee has been tweaked a bit. I even won a PENALTY on an online ranked game!

I played for a few hours after the update, and noticed no difference with the referee

I honestly was awarded free kicks from tackles I previously wasnt getting before the update.

Do you reckon they will improve the AI in the next patch?

I believe they are going to release quite a good and large patch next and I reckon this will be before the weekend.

I say this because one of the mods on Pesfan said the Winning Eleven peeps received good DLC.

Well I'm glad they released this little update, as its been released in order to allow future updates work correctly.

I'll keep a close eye on the ref when I'm playing later, see if I notice any difference - but he was definitely just as bad last night!

well in 210+ games for me i have only had one penalty

i dont like the angle they take the penalties at, i missed it due to the annoying crap angle. what happend to the nice angle it had in pes2008?

although when you get an in game penalty and a penalty shootout the two angles are completely different which you shoot at, why cant they be the same? lol

Keep an eye on what this guy is doing, i have used his option file and the AI team is so much better at attacking.

no, i have pes2010 for pc, and i downloaded a superstar unlocker.

theres no real/proper way to unlock superstar. its an easter egg really. you can't unlock it unless you use a third party program like the one i posted above.

superstar difficulty makes top player seem like a joke. when i first got pes2010, i was always ranked #1 on the master league table with inter milan and TP difficulty. after i downloaded the superstar tool, i started a new ML game with roma and superstar difficulty. i'm barely clinging on to rank #3 now and busting my balls so i can qualify for the champions league next season. i haven't had a clean sheet in god knows how long. the opposition AI actually ATTACKS and plays every game as if it were a final
