I propose an idea which could be used in conjunction with another idea regarding how divisional ranking points are calculated, please have a read, I am sure you will like the idea and the scope it opens up with regards to tournaments in MLO.

Please vote so we know how the community feels about how tournaments are currently run/organised on MLO.

I propose firstly that tournaments have no effect on your league ranking points. Tournaments are not divisional matches, so they should not effect your divisional rank.

I think it would be fun if tournaments had more variety and if they had more rewarding prizes. Money should not be the only thing we gain from playing tournaments.

We should have sit-and-go tournaments, they simply fill up as you enter them, and start when full.

We should have divisional and 'open' tournaments as we already have.

We should have regional tournaments.

We should have Major and minor tournaments.

Some of these tournaments should unlock items that we can use on our team. Things such as training camps, agents, sponsers.

Here is an example of how all of these things could be put together....

Minor 16 team Regional Tournament

A Sit-and-Go tournament that starts when 16 players have entered. Only open for players from SPAIN. Winning this tournament will unlock the use of an agent for your next transfer signing. Using an agent will reduce the transfer fee you pay for the player by 10%. You can only use the agent once.

AMATEUR LEVEL 2

Since you are new at MLO2 you start this adventure at Amateur level 2.

You can choose to play:
- Ranked Match
- Ranked Tournaments
- Ranked Leagues
- Friendly Matches
- Private Tournaments (for your own community)
- Private Leagues (for your own community)

DAILY TOURNAMENTS – LEAGUES

Daily Tournament 1.

32 players knock out (sit & go)
Home and away matches (so you can show your own stadium)
Winner receives entry ticket for qualifying tournament)
Runner up can entry another one for free

Daily Tournament 2.

5 Teams League (sit & go)
Home and away matches
Winner receives entry ticket for qualifying tournament)
Runner up can entry another one for free

Daily Qualifying Tournament

Winners of DT1 / DT2 are enabled to join the Daily Qualifying tournament.
128 players knock out (sit & go)
1 match per round (eventually groupfase = ko)
Winner promotes to D5 professional status.
