Just thought it was worth mentioning that in an interview a while back Seabass said their would be "Brand new gameplay modes", which where infact already complete last year apprently and a massively important piece of info, "Cruical changes to gameplay"
So basically what my point is that all fears about it not beeing released until next year are garbage. Its almost gaming law that they should release it when the new season starts so they definetly wont release it any later than christmas time and they definetly wont leave it until next year as PES brings them a healthy profit which they use to fund other games they make so it would be suicide for konami to wait until next season to release and would almost certainly cause many Konami customers to pack up and go which is not on their agenda.
Infact its highly likely they've already made the game. I mean like the quotes say, many new gameplay modes were actually implace last year befor the release of pes 2008 so this is food for thought....
What if PES 2008 was such a dissapointment becuase they were paying more attention to building pes 2009. like i said new gameplay modes were said to be in place in an interview 4 days befor pes 2008 so maybe they started building it back in august-ish last year.
Everyone seems to be saying "wait a year and develop it properly", but as stated, they have practically said they had statred to build it last year and seeing as most of you are saying give it a year and a half to build it, well if my calculations are correct, they have had just under a year and a half to create it. i know this may sound a little out there but there is logic to it and a little evidence to boot. you cant disproove the interview quote and that is cruical.
Perhaps becuase as they explained, they only have like a 6 man team making the game with a few other employees it would be quite easy to keep the game in the closet until release date. what really exites me though is the quote i read about new "cruical changes to gameplay". i thought 2009s version would just have crap (sorry) like senario match or challenge mode and a few other touches but im incredibly glad to hear they have tweaked the gameplay around which is the only thing i really care about.
