hi everyone, been trying to find out ways to ease the online lag by trawling online, finally decided to join a forum to take advantage of your expert opinions!

After weeks of lag hell, I have installed PES 2008 to my PS3 but I can't find where it has installed to, I still need to use the disc, and it has made no difference to the gameplay.

Have I wasted my time? If so, where has it installed to so that I can delete it?

Also, for what it is worth, I've not had a single lag free game yet. Any tips to sort this? Reading the forums here lots of people think a patch has worked. I patched up in January but again, no difference. I have broadband 10meg line etc so it aint the connection.

Any and all help much appreciated!

The install is only partial so you still need the disc. If nothing else it improves load times marginally.

As for the lag, it's just tough. Even if both players have a great connection there is still lag issues. There's nothing you can do as an individual. Shite i know.
