Installing Wolf's and Andy's Patches

This is a general thread requested by some, so here goes.

After downloading the patch here are some quick instructions.

First off I'd like to say that the instructions are pretty straight forward and shouldn't be a problem for most people.

Some people mentioned that they cant find AFS Explorer. AFS Extract is good enough for this job, but I found that I like the search feature in AFS Explorer. Only drawback is that for me, it seems to not import and save the afs files right. So I might do some searching with AFS Explorer to find a file, but I always use AFS Extract to import and save the afs.


After extracting the patch file the folder you want to install first and copy it to the C:

ex. c:\uniforms

now to install the uniforms follow the directions in the text file

Which equate to.
  • Go to 150pl_auto_uni.afs
  • Go up the Command menu and select import folder.
  • Navigate to c:\uniforms
  • Select OK

This will import it.

Now you continue this same process for the other things. If you cant find the file to import I recommend going to google and finding AFS Explorer and using its search feature.

When finished, select 'Modify Reserved Space' from the 'Command' menu and then select the 'regenerate afs' button to save the new file. This will take some time to do.

Using the search feature will help file some stray files that you can't find, like for certain stadiums and such.

ok it all seems to be going ok so far. But what do i do with San Siro and Stadio Olipico?

They have "read me" files which are in italian or something...and i dont know which file im to look for to import stuff into them.

And adboards i get an error importing them into the main pro 3 afs file. It says "not enough room, rebuild afs". ???

EDIT: Solved Adboard problem i think. i put all the adboard files in wolfs/andys pack into this file: 120st_kb__tc.afs

Is that right now?

you should only replace the files that you have in the patches.

wolf's patches dont require resizing of the afs file.

check your PM too

mmmm CTRL ALT DEL dont be too sure of that!! I have had problems with their stadium updates... I get the same error message as the other geezer... And it corrupts my data_e.afs.... But thankfully the one stadium I can update without errors is old trafford so im pleased!!! Strange that he is having probs with adboards.... i didnt....BTW just to add CTRL ALT DEL I installed this patch over the top of a fresh PES3 install to make sure that it wasnt something else I have done wrong and it is not......

Yeah try ftp://lomungtung.no-ip.com/ using cute ftp or dap, and go to pes (pc) patches and it shoyuld be there
