no, there isn't. actually I kinda missed this to, I think you can do it in the fifa-games, at least you could in "world cup '98", R1+R2 made you go down like a van nistelrooy. it didn't always work of course, and you got quite a few bookings for it, but when it worked it was gold.

yeah they had it then in f*fa and have it in this is football at the moment, wood b a gd addition to the game if u cood do it as i swear some of those computer players dive!!!

i think something like that in football games is a disgrace. its bad enough in real life, but it would soon become a normal part of football if it crossed into simulated sports as well.

nice one to PES for not doing it

i'd like to see an "appeal" button.

i've wanted to appeal for penalites in PES3 where i felt i was clearly barged off the ball and the challange was a disgrace but the ref AI always turns a blind eye - the team in question dont even get a booking. And i've wanted to appeal against computer freekicks around my area where their players go down like a whore on crack.

I admit though, that it could be abused, especially if a "diving" button was introduced - but let's face it, diving is now quite common in top flight football. I think it's a disgrace, but Strikers use it as another tool to get their goals.

I don't like in football irl, but the games are supposed to be simulations and since it's a big part of todays game (come on, when did anyone see a game where noone dove or appealed to the judge even though they clearly knew they were wrong) it could very well be implemented in the games. maybe they could implement it, and if you tried you automatically got a booking :) a bit of a moral lesson in the game, so to speak
