Well, late in the previous season I was saving my big players for the crucial matches and I don't think it helped. Earlier in the season I wasn't doing that which was how I got into the top three in the first place. We started off a little sketchily this season, but have now won four in a row with two consecutive hat-tricks from one of my second-string strikers. We're doing well so far, though considering I was top at this stage last season with the exact same record and number of points, I'm not getting carried away.

just hire the best staff, thats what i've done, you only have to pay around 500,000 a season so its pretty good

I always see loads of free players on there, but when I can buy them, they suddenly vanish!! Did you manage to buy him? If you did then you have got a pretty good striker there!


EDIT - There is also a free defender going, 90/100 but 37 years old and another who is 88/100 but 33

I won 2-1 away. My strikers doing well, my new striker scoring 1 and my other striker who has now scored 5 out of 6 not bad. Am also 8th i dropped down but now on the way back up.
