Letters To Konami/SEABASS

:) Hi Everyone!,
I want to get in touch with KONAMI/SEABASS regards to the future of PES.. and the development of the series. I think the series is great and feel the best way forward would be for a community like PESinsight to have an established connection between us and them.
Heres my questions to people reading on the forum feel free to add join in.

1) Has any forum member received a reply from KONAMI in result from sending them a letter either positive/negative?

2) I'd like to hear from admin on the subject.. is there already an established link i.e someone that can clarify how Konami see the future of the series? and someone that could sometimes help clear up/quash obvious rumours.. a sort of public relations person for konami that can get back to an admin member or THE BOSS?

If any of the above is not accepted by the admin/mods/boss then i do apologise but i haven't seen it mentioned in the rules.. and the above questions aren't meant to cause unrest there just ideas i think would benefit not just the website but the fans/konami and the series.

Thanks for reading even if you don't post on this.
Cheers

Hey good post mate :D

I remember last year someone made a thread with suggestions for Konami in regards to PES5. The guy who made it was planning to send it off but Im not sure if he did or not?..

As for admin having contact with Konami im not sure. I think I've read on here that Admin get a free copy of every PES game when it comes out from Konami so that might be as far as it goes regarding contact...Not totally 100% sure if thats true or not so don't quote me.

I think that if someone was a spokesman for all of us and had regular contact with Konami with the progression of the PES series e.g. Things and features we would like to see in the game etc would be a great thing as Konami would perhaps make a sales increase. But we have to respect their decisions and what they feel should be in the game because there will be alot of legal stuff and loopholes etc and its not as easy to put all our requests in the game as it is as easy to say :D

Konami have replied to people's letters in the past, but it seems they cannot use the ideas of the fans for copyright reasons. It a shame because this means any letters sent to Konami are pretty much a waste of time. But, still worth a go.

yeah, i rememember that too. I think he didnt, im not sure though. Anyway, mate, have you tried konami.com? If you can get it in english, there is a place where you can actually send a letter to konami. My friend tried it once before, it worked. And while you're at it, give them the best possible list for making their game even better. :) Nice post mate

Its a certain seller.. isn't it?

Answering my own questions slightly but this is necessary..

The line i was thinking was that if someone could be a first point of call for us on this forum then at least all of us as a community could get answers from konami direct when rumours hit the news we could have a public relations spokesperson from konami to quash the rumours.
We all love PES and appreciate what Konami are doing with the series.. and Copyright is a major problem where they are concerned.

Everyone wants the licensing... and everyone has their own ideas.. orange footballs in the snow, linesmen, players warming up on the sides..etc
What I'm saying is Konami have probably thought of all this and at some point in the series it will show up in the game. So as far as copyright to fans ideas goes i think its safe to say my attempts to feed them ideas will fall on deaf ears.
However.. what about considering a thread started by one of the senior members controlled by Admin.. where ideas are only submitted on
an admission of no intent to claim with forum members submitting their full details of not intending to claim a reward when konami experiment with their ideas?
The Reason I'd like to see a relationship between Konami and the Community is that to a certain madness we all are trying to achieve the same goals.. If we could find an ideal situation to presenting our ideas on a professional basis.. I've no doubt we will achieve this.

Konami cannot lose out on a deal such as this.. we get the game we've dreamed of and they get the certain sales?

I say: Is the thread still available?.. who was it the had this idea? Maybe we could work together in setting up a letter? Assuming he didn't send the original.

I also want to make it perfectly clear to anyone reading that it shouldn't be a protest or petition of sorts just soley for idea's.. we don't want to be barracking Konami every five minutes and them spending more time answering our queries rather than developing the game! My intentions are to provide a stronger link between this community of followers for PES and Konami as outlined above.

Konami's T & C's for Submission of Ideas.

An update from my research

I found this on www.Konami.com's website

* SUBMISSION OF SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS

In order to avoid any possible future confusion between proposals from third parties and our own proposals, and unless we have advertised for suggestions and ideas on our website, it is our company policy not to accept any proposals concerning our products and/or services from third parties.

In the event that you submit a proposal, such proposals will be treated with the assumption that you have agreed to the following terms:

1.

Konami has no obligation to maintain confidentiality regarding the proposal.
2. Konami has no obligation to examine, evaluate or adopt the proposal.
3. If any Konami Group company announces or releases services or products which are partly or completely the same as or similar to suggestions made or ideas submitted by you to us, Konami and its Group companies shall be under no obligation nor be liable to make any compensation to you.

I say: Check Number three out!! This means that if we as a community under a thread give our personal details and names and addresses (as mentioned in my previous post) and agree to the terms of not submitting to claim for the future they're is a posibility our ideas will be considered.
Its not a stone cast guarantee but its a start.

Well.. all i can say is i'll do my best and give it a try.. i've been warned by others that i'm wasting my time.. but i can't work due to illness so time is something i have in abundance.. I thought there would be more people posting on the thread.. but from my research i've gathered over the last few days it seems previous attempts were met by konami with a lacklustre response.. anyway the reigns are over to me... I'll see what i get from my first letter and take it from there. Thanks for the support .. its not for me.. its for the good of PES and this community.

Quoted by ThierryHenry14: i sent an email but never got anything back so there

I received a standard reply, they can't accept ideas, etc...

but some of the things i asked for (being able to edit national team badges, ability to switch the shorts and socks between h&a kits, think there was something else) featured in WE9.

obviously i have no idea how effective my request was, there could wellhave been 500,000 similar ones!!! or maybe someone @konami thought of it) but it's always worth a try.

if you go in with a mindset that you won't get anything back you shouldn't be disappointed but if you get something positive back you'll be delighted mate.

i think this is a great idea, having any suggestion on this forum implemented into the game is reward enough and i'm sure that nobody would want to claim any sort of ridiclulous copyright over an idea. its such a shame that the legal systedm can get in the way of making a great game for everyone to enjoy. i'd be more than happy to support and join your campaign reddevilpesfan.

I say: Well check the previous posts mate.. look at my research look at the post titled Konami's T & C's of submission of Ideas and look at Number 3!
The T & C's outline that upon submission of Idea's to Konami if you agree to not claim any compensation for your idea's then the legal side won't really come into affect although its not a cast Iron Guarantee they'll take them its still worth giving them your input. Konami are just covering their backs.. I can imagine theres people out there wanting to make money on they're idea's and .. theres nothing wrong with that.. but we have also got to consider that some companies not just Developers have probably been stung in the past for using consumers ideas.

Oh Yeah.. and something more.. Konami is a corporation and a very successfull company.. i think they'll want it to stay this way so they'll intend to do some R&D at some point int the future. I'm gonna sign myself up for their R & D campaign for the Pro Evo series.
