Licsensed Teams Online

Just curious are Arsenal and Man Utd officially licensed on Pro Evo 6. I never noticed until I played online. When I chose London FC (CHELSEA).

My opponents on 2 seperate occasions chose Arsenal & Man Utd respectabaly and they were correctly named (Manchester United & Arsenal) and correctly kitted and had correct badges.

I have an option file with all the corrections like you all do which is fine when you play the game Off Line but will not work for me online but obviously works for those teams. Can I download a patch or special file for this or is it standard for Pro Evo 6. I'm talking for the PS2 here.

Online uses default Option File. It would be unfair if you could use your own file online (you could have all players on 99 stats).

Manchester Utd and Arsenal are the only 2 licensed sides from England.

I thought as much. I wouldn't want to cheat like some of the twats that play online anyway. Would be nice to just have the kits and badges though.

Some players have definitely altered the stats of the players. You can tell. Even with Pro Evo 5 online, I played Barcalona once and they had Henry in their team.

I wonder why Man U & Arsenal have been licensed this year.

Surely they could load team kits client side which would allow each player to use whichever kit they wish without the risk of editting stats?

Kit information is stored in the Option File.

The only way of updating it with kits would be to patch it.

You get online patches that lets you use the Superpatch 4 stats, kits etc online for PES5, dno bout 6 tho, should be one out soon. Its not cheating as Superpatch 4 stats are based on FM2006 stats for players, so not all on 99 etc lol

Having stats different to your opponent provides a clear advantage... especially when the transfer window comes. Unless you are playing with someone who you KNOW also has the patch.
