Hi, first time poster here and new WE player. I just bought WE, my first WE game, and I think its freaking awesome. I just started out my ML and as you know, my team just blows ass. How do I get some good players so I got a chance against some teams? who should i get?

The game says there is no transfer fee if the player has less than 6 months on his contract, but I always pay a transfer fee, even for players we no team. I picked up some japanese players but always had to pay around 800 just for transfer. Also, how do I afford some really good players cause I have low points in div 2?

If anyone can tell me some useful tips on the best way to go about making transfers I would appreciate it. Thanks.

There is a topic in this forum that gives you good suggestions of who to get for free and unknowns that don't cost much.

You get them for free at the end of the season, you must first approach to sign them on frre transfer by negotiating a contract with the player. There is a transfer window in which you can't sign players but arrange to sign them at the end of the season. This is your first oppotunity to sign players on a bosman and will be the best way of getting good players after your first season.
Players with no team don't cost as much as those that play for a team, I don't know why you have to pay for these players but I think maybe the game works on the pretense that they play for teams not on the game.
One suggestion is that if you have chosen a good team then actually buy players for that team because they will be easier to buy than good players that are already at a club.

Win matches, win the cup, win the league and sell off any of your player that you inherited (yes all of them, they are all as crap as each other). Also its good to win the cup before getting promoted because you may not get another chance and there are lots of PES shop/transfer points to be had.
One way is to lower the skill levels if your struggling. Don't make it too easy but let yourself atleast get some decent players and don't go under after your first season.
I start on 3* when starting a new ML and don't move up to 5* until I atleast have a first 11 of my own making. So just make it challenging but let yourself get beat all the time because you have to remember if you had the squad of the teams you were playing against you could raise the difficulty by atleast one star. So when you get a better team you can raise the skill level.
Also adjust the difficulty of signing players to 1* and you can sign players easier, then raise it again as your team gets better.

thanks for the help guys. I just got near the end of my first season and can now make transfer free buys. But the bastards aren't coming over to my team :( I give them better salaries but they still deny me. I have a good team, im #1 in div 2. I think I might lower the difficultly of getting players just to get a few goods ones and then raise it again.

I think there's a lot of treads that tell you what players are good and cheap, you should look for them....Use the search function.
