first of all the player(s) must be added to your scoutlist so you get a percentage:
0-9%:
Player is extremely unlikely to sign for your club even if offered twice or three times their usual salary.Wait until your team's status rises,or look for a more amenable/realistic target
10-24%:
The player really isnt interested in making a move, but there is a slight chance that they might accept a stupendasily generous offer.
25-49%:
Player would not specifically object to playing for your team, but will demand a signicant wage increase in order to sighn on the dotted line.
50-74%:
Player is interested in joining but may need to be persuaded with a suitable wage increase.
75-100%:
Player is very keen to join your club, and will usually join if you offer terms that approximetly match his current contract
