Master League Transfer Advice Needed

About to start my second season as AC Milan, and I am having a purge of the old/crap

Old being players like Inzaghi and Ronaldo, crap being like Favalli and Bonera.

Already sold a load, including Emerson and Nesta (big cash offers), and potentially looking to use Gattuso, Pirlo and Kaladze in trade deals to bring in new players.

Bank balance is huge, almost 90,000 points after winning the cup and league, and the sold players. Looking to bring in some good players to my team. Major problem is the negotiation difficulty on the top players is too high to get them in...so need to bring in some players to do me over for the next year, and help me establish myself in the league.

Pretty small squad, only 17 players. Have a few created players in there too, like Di Santo, Araujo and Esparza. Need some advice on strikers. Does anyone know how the likes of Yakubu and Cavenaghi develop. Looking to use them as back ups to Gilardinho, and hopefully Berbatov (if the transfer goes through)

What are your opinions? Yak or Cavenaghi? Or is there a better option? They will partner Quagliarella...

Thanks for any help!

Aguerro or Zlat would be a dream. Sadly its unlikely either will come

Trying hard to get Berba and Aguerro.

Its a 4-4-2 Diamond, with Lennon and Odonkor wide men, with vd Vaart or Kaka at the point. Using Pirlo as the holding man, with a view to signing either Iniesta, Essien or Sneijder to replace him at some point.

Does anyone know if teams prefer straight out buys or trades? Do players want more money, or do some prefer getting closer to the estimated wage? DO they want long contract or short contracts? Any gaurunteed way to get a player with a low transfer difficulty number (i.e. like 5 or something) to sign?!?

The biggest issue (Most of the time) is the fact that your team popularity is lower than most clubs who's got the players mentioned (f.x. Ibrahimovic). I usually buy young players from clubs that ain't that popular, then wait until I get A or S team popularity before starting to sell my old stars and replacing them with younger ones.

every1 always mentions these players but get shaw (LM,RM) and shimizu (CF,SS) - those pos's are best for those players in my opinion and id play shaw RM coz hes got a cannon of a left foot and his accuracy is kinda frigtnin how gd it is for a teenager. There created players btw

My teams popularity is A...I won the league and cup and have been promoted...and have big bucks

Signed Bos, Shaw, Duffy and Kobayashi (early peak, and drops quite quickly after he has peaked...peaks at about 86, but he has stars for marking, sliding, d-line control, long throws, only costs about 300 points, a left back or centre back, left footed Japanese guy, potential good buy) from the young players. Keeping my eyes open for any good re-gens (Nedveds, Maldinis, sort of players I know will go onto good things) and the likes of Orellano, Shimizu etc

Its frustrating...even though we are popular, promoted, rich, no-one decent wants to come :(

Speaking of regens, am I the only one who thinks that some of them are underrated in this game? Maldini's peak is only around 86-87, while Nedveds is 88 or so. It seems like two of the all-time greats ought to be rated a little more highly.

Del Piero, Stam, and Brian Laudrup (under the name Landroam) look like some of the better reborn players.

Have you checked the tranfer possibility score? When looking a players to buy, there is a little score from 0-100 to the right of the player name. The higher the number, the more likely to sign. It's one of the few improvements on 2008.

80 and above should be easy enough. 50-79, offer higher wages.

30-50, trade is unlikely to be accepted, but it is possible to buy if you throw enough cash at the deal.

Less than 30, on top ML difficulty? No ferking chance.

Make the offer and if they refuse just load up the game again and keep trying.
Eventually you will get your man.I had to wait a few seasons to get sergio ramos but i got him

Yeah.
The higher the number next to the player the better chance yiu have of signing them.

When i started my Real Madrid ML, i wanted my team to be as young as possible. The oldest player in my team is Buffon(30).

When i wanted to sign some players i either: Looked in the "Un-Belonging" section where you just have to offer a salary to the players, I got Reyes, Lennon, Tulio, V.D Vaart, Kalou, Trejo from there. Or I sort the players by "Age" and try and sign some good young players.

If your Team Popularity is "A" or "S", negotiations will be easier, there is a 17 year old striker, by the name of "Schwarz" he will cost a fair bit but he is really good.

If your looking for a Defensive Midfield Player here are some suggestions. Note all ages are 26 and Under.

Sissoko, Yussuf, Zabaleta, Obodo, Mascherano, Muntari, Essien, Makoun, Gago

Very good defensive Midfield players there

Here is my team.

For those of you who don't know Kremer is a 17 year old German Keeper who i, sometimes give games to. I recomend him. Schwarz is a 17 Year old German striker, who has lots of potential. Trejo, is a 21 year old Agerntinian Midfielder.
