Max Drive does not work for me???? HELP

Hi i just bought one of them max drives i have Windows xp so it installed auto and then i put one of the game option files in for my Winning Eleven 8 LiveWare Evo on to the max drive put the usb in the ps2 loaded the cd click on the usb picture and it said no files so i put 2 in it from my pc and it said nothing i tried clicking back and forward to it on the PS2 picture and the screen and it showed for once and then click to move them to my memory card and on both it said error file on both??

Please help i really want to play this game in English

What format are the files you copied to your max drive?
They should only be .max

If they are not, they will need unzipping or unrarring before you get the .max

They are Max Files and they still dont recognise them when i click on the max drive picture to show whats on the memory stick
