Max Drive not working!!! HELP!!

hey everyone,

got the new pro evo and i just downloaded the option file for it and.....low and behold my PS2 is being a complete and utter sh!t, i have tried several ways of putting the save (which is a .MAX file) on to the max drive, yet, when i load it up with the programme on the PS2 it says there are no files on the Drive itself!!! It is really annoying!!!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

It's not locked is it? Have you "Un-RARed" the file? If you've unlocked it and "Un-RARed" it then I don't know..sorry.

its unlocked, un-rared and everything! :( it worked fine for pro evo 5 as well!!! im truly gutted!!! anyone have any other suggestions/had this problem??

So, the problem may be due to the option file itself. Download it again or download another one else.....

i tried it with another option file and a Pro Evo 5 option file! i seem to remember something liek this happening and then it just started to work?! any more suggestions??

i am now trying to delete option files from my max drive that apparantley "arent there" (according to my ps2) and it says that i cant delete them??? Oh dear?? whats happening!!!???

So, format your your max drive and your memory card and start from the beginning.
Note: leave a copy of your OF in your computer..........

okay, i have formatted max drive, my MC only has 1 thing on it, is the best way to put the file on via my computer or via the max drive programme itself (NB. I have previously tried both ways!)

The file is on your MC, so, put the file on your computer by:

1-After you format your Max drive, you should transfer the file from your MC to your Max drive then to your computer.
2-Format the Max drive again and your MC.
3-Check the file that you have.
4-Start the process of transferring the file from your PC to your Max drive.

where is the new option file for pro evo 6? i cant stand the kits and stuff being basic.
I had one last year from pesfan.com but they cant do it anymore cos of copyright or something.

Can anyone help????????

It's not that I don't like to help. It's when people go "BLAH BLAH BLAH" and expect someone to dig it out for them, if they say they have searched and/or I know the location of it I'll gladly dig it out.

I see and I agree with you that it is better to help when people have already started to search and not to dig it out for them. I just want to see your funny response....;)
