You can use the max drive to transfer option files from your computer to Ps2 and nothing else is needed to do this.

You can`t use the max drive to transfer patches to your Ps2 though.

how do you do that? i want to do that as well

You need a modded/chipped PS2 mate, it'll cost you alot more than a 10 quid max drive put it that way. When you do get your max drive i suggest you check out my option file and Watsons option file if you want really up to date files.

Yeah, all you need is a max drive to get my option file onto your PS2, you don't need to get it chipped. Try www.evo-web.co.uk for more option files, pesfan.com aren't aloud to host OF downloads anymore.

Firstly, no you don't need to have a chipped/modded PS2 to use a max drive. To use a regular USB to transfer option files you'll need to make sure you have the disc for the PS2, thats the mini-cd from Datel that comes with the max drive. Some USBs won't work, however, and i don't know where to get the CD from, as i went out and bought a Max Drive myself.
Secondly, post this in the right forum. This is the player creation center, not the File Downloads forum.
