Right, I got my Maxdrive today, installed, got the option file I wanted etc, but when I put the disc in my PS2 it keeps on coming up; Disc Read Error, I've been trying for about an hour now and it's really driving me nuts, if anyone could help me I would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest blowing into your PS2 to get rid of any possible dust. Make sure the disk isn't scratched. Try putting the disk in and then turning the PS2 on its side.
If none of this helps, try using a lens cleaner in the ps2.
