Menu change - WEFA Champions to Championsleague?

I have change the Name: Divison 1 to 1.Bundesliga(German Soccer League) ;)
I have change the Name: Cup to DFB Pokal (German Cup) ;)
And i change the Name: WEFA Meisterschaft to Championsleague
The first one appears in the Game but Championsleague don´t appears
I change this in the lcm_g.str (German Version of PES3 PC) with Hex-Edit and Zlib Tool
Anyone knows why Championsleague not appears but the other changing Names? Maybe there are protected?
Notes:I edit all Names about WEFA in the lcm_g.str

how do you do that mate? sorry i havent a clue about your problem. maybe if you tell me how to do it i'll be able to tell you if i have the same problem :D

Hi FCH, i to have no idea how to do this, do you think you could put a little tutorial together showing us how to edit this file, and change the names to are own home cups and leagues.

he has told you, extract the lcm_?.str file, open the zlib tool, drag the str into it. creating a str_000 which you can edit it with a hex editor.

inspired by your post I did some looking and the competition names are also in mc_?.str, maybe you need to change those too?

yes i think that opening it with a hex editor was fairly obvious, but it was the part about decompressing it with zlib first...so that you can read it that might trip some people up

i need to find the right tools to get that done at this point my hex editor doesnt seem to want to decompress it

afs_extract has the tools,
the thing is I had no idea how to do it until I read that post, and tried the zlib tool myself, dragging the str over was a lucky guess!

i was doing a search for zlib tool in google and came across a demo app i manged to get working

i'm having problems uncompressing the file outta the afs file

i open afsextract, open the file and find the file i want to decompress in the afs structure. but then i cant get it out.

if i pull the str file out, and then try and use the afs zlib tool by drag and drop, it fails as well
