ML Negotiation Period

you know what i find really frustrating in master league is the "negotiations" i mean i needed a left winger and a striker so i wanted robben,his value was about 9000 something i cant remember so i offered 15000, got turned down, then offered 20000, it got turned down, so then i thought f**k it and i offered 30000 and it still got turned down! :blush: however i got tevez for 12000 even tho his value was 10000...has some 1 found this in their ML aswell?

They have stars based on how likely they are of coming to play for you. If they are at a better club they wont want to leave and also if your quarterly ML ranking is low then forget it. If you start winning and doing well in the top league money shouldnt provide to big an obstacle in purchasing players

kk thx mate my team is quality as i used make team its got the likes of buffon henry gerrard eto'o ronaldinho alonso an others but i think my ranking is about 63 so thats why they probably arent coming :tongue:

i dont think the money matters i was tryin to get shimizu offered max deal for him got rejected im talkin bout 50000 and hefty 4000 wage he rejected thge week after i bidded the basic for him the one its says wen u dont alter it and i got him

Once you become number1 in the rankings you will be able to get him for less than his value, thats what happens with me

yeah, in my first year negotiation, i tried to buy maradona but Real Madrid was also going for him. I was a serie B team, and Real was La Liga Premiera. Since maradona doens't come with transfer fees, it ended up that Real was offering only 1100 for him, when his value was 1400. I kept failing and failing, and by chance, i eventually signed him to a 3 year deal of 2000 per year, making him the most fucking expensive player on my total 18000 team.

I had this similar incident when I was trying to buy Fernando Torres, I was using Arsenal. I started out in serie b and I really wanted to get him so I offered a lotta cha ching for him but the deal kept breaking down so I said screw it and offered 20000 for transfer and a salary of 1500 and it was succes! The bad part was that I screwed myself because I had no money left to renew contracts etc and I had to start a new ML. Pretty gay.

Luckily maradona was a free transfer, so I thought no matter how high the salary is, as long as i can beat Real to him, i win, high salary is always lower than transfer fee in the future.

don't know if you know about this but if you add the players you are after to the list,then when you look at the list press ->, you'll see 1-3 stars depending on the player and this tell you how likely the player is to come, so using this i got players like torres, fabregas and tevez for either swaps for original master league players or really cheap with cheap wages! hope this helps!

Click on the Others page, and any team not in your Master League are not playing for any club, you can pick these guys up pretty easy. I.e. one of the leagues A-D are not the spanish teams then all Barca - Real players are in this list.
