Half way line shot

I heard it was possible to score from the half way line all the time if your with Beckham or some1 with that ability. I havent been able to do it so far , has ne1 else?

Im not sure about the half way line but from the edge of the the centre circle you can score.

have a look in the goal gallery. Theres loads in lobs suprisingly!! I think you can either try shooting but dont let the power bar got to the very top otherwise the ball will curl stupidly wide, or get someone to lay it off to your player before you hit it and it should fly like an arrow.

its not always possible u have 2 have sum1 decent with good shot accuracy. U need 2 get into the opposition's haf 2 shoot coz if u try it @ the half way line ur player will just boot the ball out a play. A must have tried this bout 20 times in ma last 6 games n a manged 2 score 1 with veron

It is possible but don't think you'll manage to do it 100% of the time.

Check to see how far out the keeper is off his line, then try a 3 quarter power bar shot at goal and it should sail over the keepers head.
I've done a few, but you need reliable players to do this.

I've scored from somewhere close to edgeline, but you can't possibly score from behind edgeline as that [] becomes clearance instead of shooting when you are behind the half line.
