My WE10 cannot be iso'ed

hi all , just a quick ask i bought the winnign elveln 10 game, and when i try to iso it in nero it says it cannot read the 0_SOUND.AFS File, and it also dodnest work in DVD decrypter, any advice here?

First make sure you have plenty of empty space on your hard disk. How much free space is there?
Check the disk isn't scratched and give it a gentle wipe using a smooth cloth from the centre to the edge in straight lines.
Reset your PC. Open DVD decrypter and do as shown in this thread to rip the ISO.

If you have any problems, post what messages you get.

Yeh i have swap magic, yeh it seems there are lil scrathes on the disc and they wont come off, and this means that the game cant b iso'ed as that file cant b read ( ps i use dvd encrpyter ). anyway around this? many thanks

I guess you could try to rip the image using another dvd drive or another pc but if it still doesn't work then it may be down to the scratches.

It's definitely the disc.

I've got a CD/DVD cleaning kit myself and I've had numerous discs that were unreadable, until I wiped the disc with a disc cleaning kit that is. :happy:

I think that might be your problem Khabmth. I doubt your software or optical drives are the problem.

EDIT: Mind you, it also depends on the severity of the scratches on the underside of the disc in question. Deep scratches are unrecoverable.

Try using several programs to make an iso e.g. Alcohol 120%, CloneCD, DVD decrypter, etc. And if you REALLY have bought the game, downloading from the net isn't illegal.. Is it? (however dont ask how, where or from who, as it isn't allowed in here)
