When receiving an air ball from the goalie (for example), how do you ensure you get control of the ball. Some players I have seen, win every nuetral air ball - any tips please???

Are you supposed to press tackle, or just move your player into an optimal position?

yea the best thing you can do is push r2 if you'r being challenged hold r1 and r2 and try to push the attacker off the ball.

a dropped ball and kick from your goalkeeper 99% chance you win it.... i think its a small bug.

To get to the ball u can use R2, but ever since I discovered R1+x to defend I know use this to get into position whin the ball is long in the air, So R1+x to get there then R2 ro trap it from chest once there or if you have an opponent to beat a header is goos, but also try Super Cancel R1+R2 to push them under the ball, or aside etc Its not easy at first but can be done and become very useful

R2 ro trap, control it (intermediate)
